Self-Leadership’s a life skill.

Hey loves!

I wanted to take a min to talk about a HOT topic floating around with many of my clients at the moment...

SELF-LEADERSHIP!!

One of the core pillars I support my 1:1 clients with is being able to self-lead through their entrepeneurship journey, but self-leadership extends far beyond business success. ⁣

Self-leadership is a life skill. ⁣

And has hands down been one of, if not the, MOST important skills in my internal toolkit. ⁣

From navigating my professional career, role as the founder of SEED SPACE — and just general life stuff, being able to hold myself, challenge myself, be my own inner hype girl has made the world of difference in how I’m able to show up, achieve personal + business goals and for the most part, live a life in alignment with my truest desires. ⁣

This is also why my mentoring approach prioritises fostering self-leadership in clients. Not just in business, but in life. ⁣

The womxn I work with are smart af, ambitious as hell, and have hearts of gold. They come to me to support them with strategic business and marketing advice, but we go so much deeper. ⁣

Getting clear on business, marketing and sales strategies is the simple part. ⁣

The work really starts when: ⁣

We get curious about unhelpful inner-dialogue.⁣

We identify the root of sabotage-y behaviours, and challenge them.⁣

We hold space for self-doubt, but continue to step through fear anyway.⁣

We reframe and pivot when things unfold differently than planned. ⁣

And we embody a sense of self-compassion along the way. ⁣

Womxn are conditioned to outsource their leadership. Whether to a coach, to a mentor or to any other ‘self-development’ professional. These outside supports can be incredibly helpful, in holding space for and encouraging self-leadership but can be detrimental when they start to replace it. ⁣

Whether you’re a wellness entrepreneur or simply someone on a healing journey, a few quick questions to reflect on:

Do you consider yourself a self-leader?

Are there what's you currently outsource your power and inherent ability to self-lead?

What are a few simple ways you can practice strengthening your self-leadershipskill now?

If you are a BIWOC* Wellness Entrepreneur looking for this type of support in your business — someone to hold you accountable, be your mirror, and hold a space where you can get into the practice of SELF-LEADING, capacity for 1:1’s are open from the end of the month.⁣

You know where to find me!⁣

Any other thoughts on what self-leadership means to you?
